CHICAGO - Film critic Roger Ebert died Thursday after a battle with cancer, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
In recent years, Ebert battled thyroid cancer and cancer in his salivary gland, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Ebert served as the film critic for the Sun-Times for 46 years, and was the first movie reviewer to be awarded a Pulitzer Prize and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, CBS LA reports.
He was 70 years old.
