WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. officials have confirmed that North Korea's nuclear capability is further advanced than previously believed, reports CBS News.
During a defense budget hearing Congressman Doug Lamborn read a report from the Pentagon's defense intelligence agency, said CBS News. "This is unclassified, so I can make this public," said Lamborn. "'DIA assess with moderate confidence the north currently has nuclear weapons capable of delivery by ballistic missiles. However, the reliability will be low."
However, CNN is reporting that Pentagon spokesman George Little said later, "It would be inaccurate to suggest that the North Korean regime has fully tested, developed, or demonstrated the kinds of nuclear capabilities referenced in the passage"
