OKLAHOMA -- FOX News is reporting a tornado touched down west of Oklahoma, about 30 miles from Moore.
The Will Rogers Airport is being evacuated due to the tornado threat. Evacuations began just after 6:30 p.m. FOX is reporting that all passengers have been moved to an underground tunnel at the airport.
According to FOX, Funnels of various sizes touched the ground near El Reno, which is about 25 miles west of Oklahoma City. Debris is already reportedly flying through the air.
The storm appears to be heading towards Oklahoma City, which has a population of more than a million people.
The last storm on May 20th killed 24 people including 10 children in Moore, OK.
