SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are leading an investigation into an outbreak of hepatitis A in California, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada.
Although no local cases have been reported, 30 people have become sick. All the cases have been linked to Townsend Farms Organic Anti-oxidant Blend, a frozen berry product. This product is sold through Costco, and local records indicate that 244 bags of this product were sold at the San Luis Obispo store in the past month. An additional 81 bags were sold at the Santa Maria Costco location.
If you purchased this product, be sure to dispose of it immediately. If you have eaten any of
