In 1995, Arturo began his broadcast journalism career in radio anchoring the afternoon news for WPHM in Port Huron, Michigan. A year later, he got his first big break in television and began reporting and anchoring for WEYI, the NBC affiliate in Flint, Michigan.
Arturo moved to KSTW-TV in Seattle, Washington in 1998. He joined Seattle's KING-TV one year later. It was at KING-TV where Arturo began gaining notoriety for reporting on many big stories including the 1999 World Trade Organization Riots, the Nisqually Earthquake, and volcanic eruptions on Mount St. Helens. Arturo moved to Denver where he was the Weekend Morning Anchor at the CBS station there.
Arturo moved to Denver in 2005, to be the Weekend Morning Anchor at KCNC CBS 4. He joined KCOY CBS 12 in June of 2008.
Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Arturo now calls Arroyo Grande home. He loves being active in the community. Arturo is married with three children.
